ABOUT US — Our Fabric

The Essendon Football Club is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Australian sport and has a history spanning more than 150 years.

In this time, we have received significant contributions from our valued supporters to help the club achieve its ambitions to date.

To build on this legacy and secure the future of our Club, we established Our Fabric Bombers Foundation.

The purpose of the Bombers Foundation is to raise vital funds which will be invested into key initiatives across the Club to create long-term success both on and off the field and ensure we continuously hold that competitive advantage to bring home that premiership cup. It is not only about what happens on the field, it also ensures we have a greater impact within the communities we support.

Our vision is to be the most respected, inclusive, and successful club in Australian sport. If we are to set the benchmark on and off the field, we must continue to invest in our football program, our facilities, honour our past and reinstate our club as a community leader and reconnect with our lifeblood – our supporters.

Donations to the Bombers Foundation are directed into four strategic pillars, each critical to the Club’s long-term success. These pillars are the very fabric that binds us together and will carry us forward in this exciting new chapter.

In partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, all donations above $2 towards the Bombers Foundation are fully tax-deductible. Each donation will play a vital role in ensuring the Essendon Football Club achieves its key objectives.
