The Essendon Football Club continues to invest in strategic projects, capital works and one off-facility upgrades to ensure our players, coaches and staff have the best facilities and infrastructure to ensure they are set up for success.
In 2013 this started with the build of the NEC Hangar, one of the club’s largest capital campaigns which was all about building the most prestigious and state of the art facilities, rebuilding community connections, and developing commercial opportunities so that we have the best resourced base in the competition and are primed for long-term success.
Over the next few years, Our Heartland Pillar will be targeted towards maintenance and upgrades to our spiritual home Windy Hill as well as upgrades to the NEC Hangar.
A big focus on Our Heartland is also about engaging our members and fans, the lifeblood of our Club and having the facilities that enable our supporters and extended community to feel connected, welcomed and at home when they visit is a key focus for the Essendon Football Club.
